Leadership

CRCG is co-directed by James Polli, Ph.D., the Shangraw/Noxell Endowed Chair for Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, and Anna Schwendeman, Ph.D., Hans W. Vahlteich Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Polli’s research interests focus on oral drug formulation and pharmacokinetics. Dr. Schwendeman’s research interests focus on nanomedicines for the treatment of atherosclerosis. She spent 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry at Cerenis Therapeutics, Pfizer, and Esperion Therapeutics.
